Common questions
Do you do pink slips in Surry Hills?
Yep. We're an authorised inspection station for cars and light vehicles, so we can do the safety check you need to renew your rego and lodge the result electronically. "Pink slip" is what everyone calls it; Transport for NSW calls it an eSafety check.
Does my car need a pink slip every year?
Only once it's more than five years old. From then on you need one each year before you renew your registration. Newer cars don't need an inspection at all.
What cars do you work on?
Most everyday passenger cars: hatchbacks, sedans, wagons and coupes from Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Holden, Ford, VW, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, plus older classics and performance cars.
Can you build a custom exhaust for my car?
Almost certainly. We've been making mufflers and exhaust systems for fifty years, across most makes and models. Give us a ring with the car, the year and what you're after, and we'll tell you what's realistic and what it'll cost.
Do I need to book?
For a car service, pink slip or exhaust build, ring ahead so we can set the time aside. If something's gone wrong on the road, call anyway and we'll tell you honestly whether we can look at it today.
